Portraits
Professional photographer, photo reporter, photo editor – these are jobs that are part of my life. Photography’s ability to retain images is one of its greatest aspects. Portraits of writers, painters and various artists – well known and less known, but authors who have left their mark on Bulgarian culture, were made during interviews with them, accidental meetings in their studios, workplaces, in their usual working environment and have sealed moments of their creative work. The portraits were shot at the end of the past 20th century by means of conventional photography, i.e. utilizing a photographic film, and now are represented in the exhibition with the help of the new digital technologies.
