On the third floor of the former Madara printer's building, in the centre of Sofia, a space named /+/SKLADA was established in 2010. The background of the project can be sought back to "Progetto Domestico" – an exhibition of the masterpiece interior art works of the Italian furniture artist Vincenzo de Cotiis. The broad interest and enthusiasm of the Bulgarian audience spawned /+/SKLADA as a project for exhibition and museum space to host al wealth of artistic, cultural and social forms interrelating and communicating the past, present and future.

/+/SKLADA was opened with a Light Installation by architect Tatyana Glebova. The art space programme for the next months featured photography exhibits, book premieres, fashion shows, graphic novels, fashion and furniture design exhibitions of vanguard and recognized Bulgarian and world masters, among which the BULDOC documentary cinema project, presentations of Celine French fashion brand, presentation of the photographers Simeon Levy and Andrey Rashev, writer Georgi Gospodinov, stage designer and artist Nikola Toromanov, Italian furniture company Cassina, the first Balkan documentary cinema workshop, the Belgian D&A designer platform, the exhibition of over 70 glass sculptures from all over the world in "Glass in Architecture" display, the musical experiment of Geman "Stromorkestra", exhibition of modern Bulgarian art represented by "Sariev" Gallery, award events, celebrations and welcoming of various significant events on Sofia public, press and economic agenda.

/+/SKLADA presents a selection of film classics created specially for the venue by AgitProp (Boris Misirkov, Georgi Bogdanov, and Martichka Bozhilova). To the same group we owe the advent of PHOTOKIOSK – the first in Bulgaria "home delivery cabinet" whose first address is fl. 3, 11 Benkovki Str. Like other spaces of the kind worldwide, design objects grow symbiotically into a venue which is "all in one" – a gallery, shopping area, cultural focal point with film and book selection and a bar offering excellent coffee and selected wines and beverages.

/+/SKLADA can also be viewed as somewhat incomplete industrial hall. We believe that this unaccomplished austerity of the space allows each worthy social, cultural, designers' or artistic project to happen here in the most unrestricted way, every time adding different touches to the ambiance of the art space.

/+/SKLADA is open every day from 11:00 to 22:00 except on Sundays.
