Founded in 2009 and located in Sofia (Bulgaria), ANIMA Art Gallery is focused on contemporary art projects of all media. The gallery pays special attention to works produced by both established and emerging artists from South East Europe.
ANIMA Art Gallery aims to become a space open to all forms of art and gives way to creative freedom and discovery by presenting artists, initiating events and collaborating with other galleries and organizations. Directed and founded by Anna Panayotova – artist and experienced professional, the gallery follows her vision of development in art and culture by continuous improvement and communication between specialists in the field – artists, advisors, experts and audience – collectors, art lovers.

ANIMA Art Gallery provides artists with the opportunity to develop and realize ambitious ideas at its area as well as unconventional venues, and offers platforms to challenge both private and public concepts. At the same time it represents contemporary artists whose diverse practices include painting, sculpture, photography, design.
