The The Red House Culture and Debate Center "Andrey Nikolov" is one of the most prominent regional cultural centers in South East Europe. Since starting regular monthly programming in 2001, and especially after moving into the renovated building of one of the most famous Bulgarian sculptors, The Red House became the most visible and influential independent cultural operator in Sofia and Bulgaria. It now runs a programme of over 20 events a month that includes debates, lectures, conferences, stage arts, exhibitions, screenings and literary events. In addition, it provides training by various methods in less known fields of the arts, culture, social activities and practices in Bulgaria.

The Red House is committed to strengthening the civil society by holding public debate on important topics that tend to be underrepresented in the mainstream media, to the development of independent cultural sector by producing, hosting and promoting young and independent artists and groups and to the social development by constantly focusing on the most vulnerable groups of society. ]
