Elizaveta Boeva was born on August 22, 1978 in Sofia.
She has master's degree in Journalism and PR (2003, Saint Petersburg State University, Russia), History of Art (2004, the state Hermitage Museum, St, Petersburg, Russia), Film and TV Director Master's (2006, "K.Sarafov" National Theatre and Film Academy, prof. Dyulgerov and prof. Ovcharov's class). In the period 2006 – 2008 she worked mainly as documentary director in Los Angeles. Since 2010 is full-time lecturer to New Bulgarian University "Cinema, Advertising and Show Business" department. In 2011 she has obtained her Ph.D. (thesis: Beatniks and Hipsters, the USA, 1942 – 1972).
