She avoids contrasts, the sharp conflict between black and white. In her landscapes she prefers plots where earthly shapes are compact, do not press down with its substance but seem to melt in the air… For her portraits she prefers the image of the woman, the child. Thus out of the contrast image of the Mother she has created the idea of Maternity. In seemingly insignificant plots she imparts universal messages treating in modern aspect some of the eternal life values: good and evil, betrayal and nobility, sorrow and joy, old age and youth. Her works are referred to as „poetry in black and white“ as they are perceived with the heart, not with the mind.
