Academy of Photography presents sixth edition
of THE MONTH OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Dear friends,

We are once again in the month of June and this is the Month of Photography! We have the pleasure to present the album holding the selection of events in 2015. For the fourth consecutive year the financial support from the official bank of the Month of Photography, Unicredit Bulbank, gives us the opportunity to organize and consolidate the most extensive photographic event in Bulgaria and make it even more popular.

The book you are holding contains 49 photographic exhibitions and events which will be presented in many locations and Bulgarian cities. The year 2015 was announced by UNESCO and the general assembly of the UN as the year of light and light technologies. Thanks to the Union of Physicists of Bulgaria, the Academy of Photography and Month of Photography 2015 are part of the national campaign acknowledging the year of light. This year the official opening is taking place on 3rd of June!

We are honored the National Palace of Culture accepted to be our host for the opening event. As our mission is to keep and help the development of photography in Bulgaria, we are honored to award an extraordinary photographer with the Statue of the Academy of Photography – the highest recognition for his contribution for the Bulgarian photography. The prizes of the 16th yearly review of the Bulgarian photography FotoAkademika will be given away. We are thankful to all the companies who support us. And, of course, to all logistig, media, financial and idealistic partners, supporting the Academy of Photography.
