Рикардо Буси е роден през 1958 година във Флоренция. Доктор по политически науки, магистър по дипломация и международни организации.

Започва да се занимава с фотография през 1974 г., като снима в черно-бяло и цвят. Работи в областта на фотографията на природа и пътешествия. Понастоящем е координатор и преподавател в курсове и работилници по фотография за напреднали и начинаещи с тематика в сферата на природата и пътешествията. Сътрудничи на Фотографска агенция „Панда фото“, Рим.
ИЗЛОЖБИ И ОТЛИЧИЯ
От 1994 г. досега организира за Италианската федерация около 150 международни изложби с участието на чуждестранни федерации, клубове и автори.
Активно участва в конкурси и събития, като от 1980 г. досега реализира 394 самостоятелни и гупови изложби и прожекции в 31 държави. Бил е приеман за участие в конкурси повече от 1000 пъти и е спечелил над 200 награди. Пет пъти е световен шампион на FIAP в категория „Фотография на природа“ във Финландия, Южна Африка, Австралия, Хърватия.Печелил е златни медали и е световен шампион на FIAP за прожектирани образи във Финландия, Белгия и Индонезия и много други престижни отличия.
От 1982 г. журира в повече от 300 национални и международни конкурси в 31 държави, сред които Франция, Малта, Ирландия, Англия, Китай, Португалия, Куба, Украйна, Австрия, Саудитска Арабия, Чешката република, Оман и много дуги.
Признание за неговите усилия са многобройните високи национални и международни отличия, като MFIAP, EFIAP/p и Hon.EFIAP, „Constellation Dauphin ISF” (D.ISF), Actif ISF (AISF) и Fondateur ISF, 7 отличия от Фотографската асоциация на САЩ PSA, почетен председатл и почетен гражданин на различни конкурки и градове в Китай, Саудитска Арабия, почетен член на Фоотографската федерация на Аржентина, на фотографски клубове в Кипър, Турция, Индия, носител е на национални отличия “Socio Onorario” от различни италиански фотографски клубове и сдружения и много други.

He approached photography in 1974 working both in B/W and Color.
Travel and Nature photographer, he is presently coordinator and trainer of photography courses and workshops (advanced and beginner course of nature and travel) and collaborator of “Panda Photo” Photographic Agency – Rome.
EXHIBITIONS AND AWARDS
For the Italian Federation he has organized since 1994 until now, about 150 International Expositions with Foreign Federations, Clubs and authors.
He has actively participated in shows and competitions realizing from 1980 to today 394 personal and collective exhibitions, slide and digital projections in 31 different countries. He has gathered more than 1000 admissions in international competitions and over 200 awards.
Five times FIAP World Champion in Nature: Finland 1999 (CLP), South Africa 2001 (CLP), Australia 2003 (CLP), Croatia 2006 (CLP and SLIDES).
Once FIAP World Champion in Projected Images (Belgium 2011) and three times FIAP Gold Medal in Projected Images World Cups (Finland 1999, Belgium 2002 and Indonesia 2009).
In 2007 he won the Second FIAP World Cup for Clubs, with his Club “Il Gruppo Fotografico Il Cupolone” of Florence. In 2011 he won with the FIAF team the 60th Anniversary FIAP Cup “Children of the World” in Singapore.
Judge in more than 300 national and international competitions since 1982.
He has taken part to international juries in 31 different countries: Belgium, France, Malta, Ireland, England, Croatia, Nederland, San Marino, Hong Kong, China, Portugal, Serbia, Greece, Austria, Spain, Italy, Iran, Luxembourg, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Andorra, Czech Republic, Kuwait, Cuba, Ukraine, India, Turkey, Austria, Emirates, Oman and South Africa.
