Parallel Reality

This is a succession of photography directly connected with the manual labour in the Rhodope Mountains. I have been interested in the topic for several years because this strenuous and entirely manual labour has preserved its authenticity in very few regions in the country. Undisputedly the human labour habits are a reflection of the people’s social nature and spirit. It is important for me to make as many people from the public as possible familiar with this nearly extinct type of labour which co – existing in an encapsulated atmosphere and contradicting to the dynamic and automated modern world.
