Тhe exhibit of the the young Italian artist Francesco Artibani “fragments & presences” consists of two sections.
The first includes a selection of 35 recently taken photographs whose concept revolves around A dreamy dimension, ‘different’, where the details are magnified to expand until they reach a cosmic dimension, which tries to alienate as much as possible from constantly suspended reality.
The subconscious takes over and tries to shout out through the exploration of small aesthetic perceptions – some of which are everyday the others dictated by time and nature.
The elements take on a new shape and identity by penetrating inside themselves, looking at each other and showing their real nature, this way blending together in a game of colours and lights to give life to new contexts and elements.
The second section presents a selection of 11 photographs from the ‘ Negative ‘ project , which are designed not to be printed but to be projected in a camera obscura (red light), i.e. in a dark place, isolated from the rest of the world, in order to make us believe to be entering in another dimension of hues of strong visual impact.
