Janos Eyfert (1943 -) is one of the most famous representatives of the Hungarian and international photographic art. His dance and acts photographs, landscapes and applied works testify to his multi-faceted talent. He has participated in 200 individual and 700 group exhibitions. His photos has won more than 170 awards, first prizes, special prizes and diplomas. He has shot in 40 countries worldwide. His photos, photo reportages and books has been published regularly in Hungarian and international publishers, magazines, electronic media. His textbook „Ideographs – Fotoakademiya“ (Published by „Kossuth“, Budapest, 2012) is a summary of his decades of teaching and performing activities. From 2002 to 2008 taught photography at the School of Dance and Fine Arts in Gyor, in special secondary school with bilingual education in Budapest, and the Hungarian Academy of Dance. His photographs are often used in movies and television shows as spectacular element decors. In 2005 and 2006 in its „Choose Knowledge“ Hungarian television broadcast 30 episodes of his series „Watching-Seeing.“ The exhibition notes and his seventy-year anniversary.
