The Club of the „Photo reporters and the Photographers“ has been established during 1998. It is a union of the free photo reporters and photographers in Bulgaria. Members of the Club are all photo professionals in Bulgaria and amateurs who have strong feelings towards this art form.
The mission of the Club is to protect copyrights and the professional rights of the photo reporters and as well is to provide them with an exhibition arena for their creative expressions.
Since 2001 the Club is situated in the underground passage of the Council of Ministers- the Ancient East Gate of the Ancient town of „Serdika“. During this time until now, the Club has hosted over 250 exhibitions. The place became a cultural hub for art with many theatre productions organized for children and adults, book openings, a place for lectures all to support young and older talents. Moreover it is a meeting place where the photo reporters can freely communicate and share with each other and to discuss between each other topics related to the many aspects of the profession and their products.
Among the many organized special events in the Club are; The International Children’s Day, Christmas Celebrations and all other Holidays related to the Bulgarian tradition, during these there are many artists and actors who participate and support the events.
With its Ancient Wall which is remaining there from the ancient times, the Club’s gallery space is very unique with its atmosphere which predisposes you to both: art indulgence and relaxing times.
Lastly, the Club has its secure and free Wi- Fi connection and it is available to everyone while in the place to be able to work and to transfer their work and photography to their offices.
