The community center is illuminates on May 9 year 1909. Its motto was „Abstinence, education, honest work“. This is the first community center in all Sofia district. Since 1968 the community center is located in a new building, built by the people of Bistritsa together with the military forces under the direction of general Zahari Filipov.
