Treyman Foundation presents “Bulgarian Artists of FIAP”
After a pause of 15 years in 2003 Bulgarian Academy of Photography resumed the Bulgarian membership in the international federation of photo artists FIAP. Since then we have 7 Bulgarian authors who have won the title Artist of FIAP (AFIAP).
They are: Dinamir Predov, Tsoncho Balkanski, Petko Yonchev, Nikola Vassilev, Nadezhda Shipkova, Dimitrina Vassileva and Svetlan Stefanov Meanwhile Nikolay Vassilev managed to defend the more prestigious title – EFIAP (Excellence of FIAP).
In the current exhibition the Treyman Foundation shows three images from each of this authors. We wanted to present the diversity in this authors’ work. Organizing and participating in salons under FIAP’s patronage is a great opportunity to follow the tendencies in the contemporary photography.
