An exhibition of works by Petar Bozhkov
Born in Varna. Recognized Fine Art Photographer, AFIAP. Long-year Fine Art Photographer on „Bulgarian Photography“ magazine. Artist, critic, lecturer, author of numerous publications, member of juries, committees, art councils. Winner of Bulgarian and international awards, has participated in national and international events. Author of the individual exhibition „Zemya“ (Land, 2003).
Works in all genres, mainly landscape and reportage portrait. He perceives the Bulgarian land not as a plot or geographic location but as emanation of the Bulgarian soul. He actively supports the growth of young talents. In 2000, the Academy of Photography awarded him a Certificate of Honour and statuette for his outstanding contribution to the development of photography in Bulgaria.
