Art Gallery „Asen and Ilia Peykovi“ was opened on June 28, 2008 on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of the world-famous sculptor Asen Peykov.
The Gallery features permanent exhibitions of Asen and Ilia Peykov Brothers’ works, paintings of some of the most prominent representatives of the modern Bulgarian art as academician Svetlin Rusev, academician Rumen Skorchev, Pencho Kulekov, Encho Pironkov, Hristo Iliev, Nikolay Panayotov and sculptures exposition. The Gallery’s fund accounts for 1700 mobile cultural treasures – painting, graphics, sculptures, applied art and owns the largest collection of works by the world-famous artists Ilia Peykov, Pencho Kulekov and Hristo Iliev.The gallery offers exposition space for visiting individual and collective exhibitions of Bulgarian and foreign artists (halls of 120 sq.m. exhibiting area).
