National Ethnographic Museum is a part of the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with Ethnographic Museum – Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. It is one of the oldest museums in Bulgaria with over 120 years of history. The main objectives are related to the search, storage, processing and popularization of the ethnographic values related to the national and European culture. An interesting fact is that more than 50 000 objects are stored in the funds of the Ethnographic Museum – Sofia.
