Gonzalo "El Paton" Basile
He is a person attracting the attention mighty. Hundreds of tattoos through which he expresses himself, his love, emotions… boxing, all the way to political beliefs, but the gun that has „painted“ on his head (always pointing at each interlocutor), require the eyes to stay on it longer. This weapon gives reasons for rumors that he is involved in crime. Contrary to expectations, has chosen the path of honest labor. He originates from poor family living at the suburbs of Buenos Aires where there are a high degree of unemployment and crime. The boxing attracts him but the need of work lead Gonzalo to start with the truck drivers in particular, responsible for hauling garbage in the capital. Member and avid supporter of the oldest and most powerful union in Argentina – The General Confederation of Labour of the Argentine Republic (in Spanish: Confederación General del Trabajo de la República Argentina, CGT) – strongly linked to political idea of Peronism (tattooed with pictures of Evita and Peron, the emblem of the movement and many others in this thread), managed to turn his dream into reality, and namely to start boxing. Took part of the national team of Argentina and years later and at present, becomes a professional boxer with three titles, heavyweight. Forever grateful to fellow unionists and especially Hugo Moyano (leader of the Union) for the enormous help and support in his professional career. At age 38 years, father of five children (which is dedicated to another great part of the tattoo) and a hero in the eyes of young people from poor backgrounds.
