Insignificant
Recently my friend Ilia Stoykov turned me to climb the mountains and in fact for two years can boast of climbing Black peak and Peak Musala. You can be sure that it’s not my favorite thing to wear a backpack weighing about 15 kg in 4-5 hours on a slope in drifts and blizzards… but when you reach your goal, all these efforts will be converted into a euphoric feeling which for me at least is unmatched…
The project, called „Insignificant“ was made this year in January month at Vitosha mountain and more specifically of Black Peak. Aleko hut can be reached by car and from there continue on foot to the top. Transition itself is not particularly difficult and intensive and I believe sight and emotions in the conquest of the summit is sublime in comparison exercise, which cannot be avoided. The images I made during this campaign are among the most influential on my staff that I’ve done so far. Weather conditions and weather were in my favor, from the top showed only thick blanket of clouds over which was incredibly beautiful and picturesque clouds. I noticed that a couple goes to the boundary between the clouds and the horizon, where a small hill of piled stones. I also climbed a small hill and everything happened from itself. I caught a couple, when stood on edge and enjoying incredible views seemed to soar in the clouds… light clouds only missed part of the Sun, which contributed to the dramatic detail of the frame. The pictures speak for themselves about how little we actually compared with nature. I hope that you will experience at least a few of the emotions that I tried to convey to the shooting of this series of shots.
