Thailand, as I Saw it
The Exhibition displays 40 images from the author’s trip to Thailand and offers a different perspective of one of the best landscape photographers of Bulgaria.
Alexander Ivanov has many individual exhibitions and is prize-winner of national and international competitions. He was born and lives in Kazanlak. A freelance photographer, since 1988 photography has become his way of life. As he puts it, through photography he expresses himself – he doesn’t shoot just beautiful or just ugly things – he presents reality as it is. His touring exhibition „360° Bulgaria“ has raised a storm of emotions nationwide. His work on the 124 images took him over nine years of taking unique aerial landscapes through the most authentic way of flying“ – paragliding and moto-paragliding. „An image has to be powerful. To me, true photography is like love – you just feel or don’t feel it.“
