Altronics Light

Altronics light is a lighting design studio with a team of artists and architects who are well known as light designers with significant experience. The lighting design has evolved as an artistic extension to architecture, with direct influence regarding the visual presentation of the material environment and one’s perception of it as a participant. The studio’s priority is the development of a turn-key project, proposing a lighting concept which is adequately intertwined with the particular architecture; a complete service which includes in-depth analysis, project and consultations. Our portfolio includes projects for interior and exterior lighting of buildings and spaces with different purpose. Some of the best known projects are National Theatre Ivan Vazov, Sofia University Sveti Kliment Ohridski, Theatrical complex Sava Ognianov in Ruse, Museum-gallery for modern art. Since light supports all kinds of art, the demonstration space of the studio is a natural result of their interests in the visual and cultural performances and acts.

The debut of the showroom was the presentation of „Project 0″ of the sculptor Kiril Kuzmanov, followed by the exhibition „Tarametric pool“ by Anton Savov within the Sofia Architecture Week 2011, student architecture contest Positive/Negative. The showroom was hosting a part of the Festival of the independent theatre by inviting the theatrical play „Praehidno“ holding 2 Icarus awards. The jeweler Nikolay Sardamov presented his exceptional collection in his book-album there. Upcoming events: Alphapretation exhibition within Sofia Design Week 2012, exhibition by photographer Kalina Yanchulova, photographic exhibition „History and Monuments of Bulgaria“ by Historical Awakening association.
