Art Gallery „Largo“ opened on November 27th, 2008 in Varna. The gallery presents contemporary Bulgarian art and works with authors from all over the country and of all generations. The policy of the gallery also includes support of young and unknown artists. The mission of the gallery is to popularize the names and works of talented Bulgarian artists and touch the hearts of as much as possible people through their works.
Art Gallery „Largo“ aims to attend in the cultural life of Varna with its serious exhibition calendar, as well as the generation of interesting cultural events such as organizing the exhibition „Theatre Studies“ within the 16th International Theatre Festival „Varna Summer“ in 2009. During its three years of existence the gallery has made more than 60 solo and group exhibitions and has submitted more than 150 artists from Bulgaria with more than 1, 500 exposed works. The gallery has an area of 100 sq.m., facing one of the busiest streets of Varna „St. Clement“ with large 3-meter-high windows with a length of 10 meters. This helps the paintings to be exposed on lovely daylight and provide access to those works, even in non-working hours of the gallery.
