Varna, Union of Architects in Bulgaria, Art gallery House of Architects Varna

The gallery finds in House of Architects, 10 Musala Str. This typical wooden black sea house from Bulgarian Renaissance has been built around 1850 as Zeinet Bei own house, a rich tradesman from Varna. After reconstruction in 1972, the house was adapted for House the Union of architects in Bulgaria, region Varna, from architect Kamen Goranov and from 2001 part of it used as Art gallery. There are two exhibition halls, on the first and on the second floor. Many curators’ projects are shown from 2001 to nowadays, special in the architecture and visual art synthesis and cultural heritage. The gallery worked in cooperation with other galleries as „Bulart“, „Vitra“ and was participant in last four editions of Biennial of visual Arts „August in Art“. It was presented follow artists up to now: Evgenie Russev, Bulgaria, USA, 2004, Pavel Kojchev, Bulgaria, 2006, Antonia Duende, Berlin, 2008, Agapit Borras, Spain, 2010. The longterm project Disappearing Houses, Beautiful Houses, 2007-2009, in support the national campaign the Union of Architects of Bulgaria „Heritage at risk“.
