Agnieszka Rayss, fotografka, wspolzalozycielka stowarzyszenia Sputnik Photo. Studiowała historie sztuki na Uniwersytecie Jagiellonskim. Glowny obszar jej zainteresowan to fotografia dokumentalna.
Dwukrotnie nagradzana w konkursie Pictures of the Year (w 2011 i 2012 roku), dwukrotna finalistka Hasselblad Masters Award, finalistka konkursów Lucie Foundation Award, Sony World Photo Awards, Lens Culture Exposure Award, Alexia Foundation. Zdobyla takze wiele krajowych nagrod, m.in. w konkursach Grand Press Photo, BZWBK Press Photo, Newsreportaz. Stypendystka Ministra Kultury, Miasta Stołecznego Warszawy, Funduszu Wyszehradzkiego. Opublikowała album fotograficzny „American Dream” – o transformacji kulturalnej i triunfie pop kultury w Europie Srodkowo Wschodniej, i drugi „Tu sie zaczyna koniec miast“ – o nieodkrytych przestrzeniach miejskich. Brala udzial w wielu wystawach indywidualnych i grupowych, m.in. na Fotofestiwalu w Lodzi, Biennale w Pradzie, Festiwalu w Noorderlicht.
Agnieszka Rayss, photographer, freelancer, based in Warsaw, Poland. Co-founder of the Sputnik Photos collective (www.sputnikphotos.com). Her area of work is documentary photography. She studied art history at the Jagiellonian University.
A two-time winner of the Picture of the Year award in 2011 and 2012, a two-time finalist in the Hasselblad Masters Award, finalist of Lucie Foundation scholarship, Alexia Foundation grant, Lens Culture Exposure Award. Winner of several national press photography competitions, including Grand Press Photo, BZWBK Press Photo, Newsreportaz. Recipient of a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture in 2012, POlsih-German Cooperation Foundation, Municipality of Warsaw Grant and a scholarship from the Visegrad Fund.
