XVII NATIONAL ANNUAL CONTEST FOR STUDENTS IN THE SPECIALIZED SCHOOLS

PhotoAcademica is the Bulgarian competition with the richest history which has been taking place since 2000 till present. Its 17th edition breaks with the tradition of being a review of the Bulgarian photography for the past year and became a review of what has been created in the period 2001-2015, the first 15 years of the new century. Over 1300 entries by 137 authors applied for participation. The final exhibition displays the works of 64 authors and another 27 authors in the under 18 years of age section. The 12-member jury was manned only with winners of the prestigious statuette of the Academy.
