Abstract Water Textures or the World in a Drop of Water

02.07 - 03.07.2011
A workshop with Desislava Gramadnikova
Start: 02.07.2011 at 11:00
Art Center Photosynthesis

It is so easy to look at the drops of the morning dew and see their beauty. It is not hard to pick the camera into your hands and take pictures of the amazing little spheres. The hard thing is to make the other share your feelings. And what is photography if not sharing feelings and emotions.

The water fairy will "bless" you with her magic and will reveal to you small secrets about the ways of shooting this miniature world. She will show you how to make impressive water macro photography without any expensive materials or technical equipment.

Dessy has been working in the field of photography for only a few years now, but her love for its magic was born way back into her childhood when she admired the magical manifestations of different forms in her father's lab.

"I fell in love with macro photography when I once cast a glance at the grass after rain. I saw the reflections of the sun in the raindrops and I will never forget this overwhelming beauty. From that day water became my passion in photography. Now everywhere I go I see water drops and all kind of bubbly things"
