The author pursues visual impact on the spectator to make him/her look into their personal ownership to modern society. The main subject-matter is the loneliness of the individual traversing the road of life.
"It is absolutely unnecessary to write an autobiography. If human life has any autobiography, then it is of such intimate nature that it is impossible to write about it. But we, authors, need an autobiography to justify the undertaking of autobiography endeavor – pains usually taken by failed politicians, overthrown rulers, busybodies, pensioners, former palace dames and members of the Academy of Sciences."
Born on May 17, 1986 in Plovdiv, Vladimir Pekov was spellbound by photography thanks to his father. At first he was convinced that photography is not art but only a tool to document reality. Gradually he discovered its possibilities to depart from reality and started his first attempts at expressing his inner feelings. Inspired by Gerome K. Gerome, Douglas Adams and Kurt Vonnegut, he takes a position "in between" the impartial observer and the main participant in the action. This approach facilitates communication and gives the author the chance to take photos of people in their natural environment.
