The exhibition is a project of the first New Bulgarian University Art of Photography Masters' course. The Modern Trends in the Art of Photography course lead by Silvia Ivanova and Conceptual Photography course lead by Ivaylo Stoyanov prompted the title of the exhibition.

The courses are based on freedom of thought, search for and recognition of the own individuality and formulation of students' own themes: position, way of thinking, incessant quest, curiosity, history of art, philosophy and modern art stage. Music, cinema, literature and arts are incessant source of inspiration.

The courses aim at presenting photography media through unconventional form and concept thus making it an indispensable component of modern art.

The exhibition presents selected works by students who worked on previously set themes and freely interpreted them through their personal point of view which in turn allowed each of them to develop and elaborate their own ideas.

The exhibition features works by Alberto Staykov, Anna Glovanar, Desislava Balakchyiska, Dilyana Abud, Dilyana Stoimenova, Ivan Ivanov, Martina Karagyozova, Nadezhda Pavlova, Pavlina Chakarova and Rositsa Papalicheva.
